Chronicles of the Uprising Boxed set only #99c
Now-Novemnber 5th

Survival is a deadly game that Mira refuses to lose.

Mira has spent the last thirty years in the arena, where life and death are determined by the stroke of a sword and the cheers of her fans. In the new world order, being supernatural is a crime. Vampires once thought to be mythical, have been discovered, assimilated, and enslaved. Used for blood sport in the gladiatorial arena, their immortal lives are allowed to continue only for the entertainment of the human masses. The only way out of this never ending battle is in a body bag, and Mira's not going out that way.

Lost in the foster care system, all 16 year old Giselle Richards has ever wanted is someone to accept her for what she is, a werewolf.

In a world where supernatural creatures are not out and proud, little werewolf Giselle has never known love, acceptance, or what it means to belong to a pack. A child of the foster system, she's been rejected by more families than she can count. But when a family of shifters offers to adopt her, Giselle discovers they're involved in a brutal turf war dividing the paranormal factions in her city. Worse yet, the new pack fostering her might be guilty of starting the fight.

Joining a pack might just send Giselle six feet under instead of back into the foster system.

Radio Interviews and Panels. What Authors Do When They're NOT Writing.

October is probably one of my favorite months of the year. Not only do we have Halloween, (the best holiday ever!), but in Vegas it means Book Festival and Renaissance Festival. It's also the month where I get to celebrate not only my husband's birthday, but also my youngest daughter as well.
Basically every weekend of the month has something fun going on. I Love October.
This year I get to add a few speaking engagements to the list of awesomeness.
You may know I do Spilling Ink every week. It was started in part because I have a very real fear of public speaking. Little inside info here. Writers get to edit themselves into perfection. Most of us have editors who add another layer of smoothing out before you read the crazy that has come from our imagination.
By the time you read what we've written, it's good!
In person, there is no editor. I tend to open mouth and insert foot more often than not. I trip over my own tongue, and end up rambling when nervous.
So, back to what I was saying... I started on Spilling Ink as a way to not only reach out to the author community but to also help get over the fear of saying something stupid...publicly.
It has definitely helped me fear less.
Will I stutter? Maybe. Will I say something stupid? Probably. And I hope you'll listen because then we can all laugh together.
So, here goes...
