Worked by butt off to get this piece done in a day or two and then attached the draft version of it instead of the finished piece!!! I didn't discover this until weeks later. OMG is all I can say. I offered a huge mea culpa, stated it was a hard lesson learned and hung my head in shame for a few days.
Not mixing up words just the entire document, so I feel your pain!
Thanks for sharing your story!
StephanieStephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00648724530472982583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-919894200039153342.post-44759245498225728912009-09-26T11:49:05.853-07:002009-09-26T11:49:05.853-07:00I'm extremely OC, and much to my discomfort, I...I'm extremely OC, and much to my discomfort, I actually have come to the realization that it's my obsessive-compulsive nature that CAUSES me to make errors, and also to overlook them. I'm so focused on trying to find mistakes, I look and look and don't see them. I know which is which, but I catch them being misused all the time when I'm revising. It happens. You would have been mistaken if you had said, "I will try to have more patients." Now if you had said, I will try and exercise a little more patients, that would be wrong. At any rate, I know what you mean. I am horrified by the mistakes I make.
