Guest Post: Interviewing Vampires with Elizabeth Loraine

Today's post comes from the author of the hot new vampire series the Royal Blood Chronicles.

The books are available now on Amazon, Kindle, Barnes and Noble and my website.

Today she'll be interviewing her characters and invites you to add some questions of your own. Take it away, Elizabeth!!

My guests today are the five Protectors; Katrina, Kate, Rosa, Letta and El! Thanks so much for agreeing to do this. I know it’s not something that you do!

Katrina: You’re welcome Elizabeth. Since you are writing the chronicles from our journals I thought it was appropriate.

Elizabeth: Tell me what you like about the reactions you are getting from the books.

El: It’s strange. To have people say things about our life so long ago as if we could have done things differently. Letta: I laugh when people say we were too girly. What we were was naive and unprepared for all that happened. Kate: True, I had been in sanctuary for my entire life and the rest of you, except for Katrina were spoiled, rich royal courtesans! Rosa: We had choices, like what to wear that day, who to invite to dinner or what party to attend; not how do we stop evil from killing us all!

Elizabeth: I for one am glad that you are still together has that been a challenge? After all it’s been over one hundred and thirty years now.

Katrina: We are family now and though we don’t live together, we still work together. Rosa: Some days are more challenging than others, this modern world is convenient, but there is much to be said for the honor of our past. El: I agree the civility of the past is what I miss most.

Elizabeth: Vampires are all the rage these days. What do you think about that?

Katrina: Sparkling vampires? Really? Most of what is out there is fun to watch.

Kate: We get a kick out of it. We go to theaters to see everyone. If people knew real vampires were sitting right next to them things could get very interesting. Letta: Anne Rice is my favorite. We’ve known so many vampires that are like her characters.

Elizabeth: Of course I know your whole story, because I have read all your journals. You have gone through so much, seen so many changes in every facet of life. Are there things you wish had not?

Katrina: We seen technologies of cars, planes, computers, space travel you name it. But things that I wish would change have not. Rosa: You are so right Katrina. We wish that evil ceased to exist. El: That there was no such thing as war. Letta: That power didn’t corrupt. Katrina: We would be out of a job, that is something that I would embrace!

Elizabeth: Speaking of war. The Protectors have been through several. Your father’s even more. Has that fact changed you, if so how.

Katrina: Great question Elizabeth. How could it not change you? Kate: We fight wars everyday it seems. Wars that humans know nothing about. However human war is the very worst. Letta: Going through two world wars was difficult. To see what man can do to man and trying to stop evil from manipulating them is what we did and continue to do. El: We were nurses in world war one and spies in world war two. It was challenging and exciting I thought.

Elizabeth: You have enough of the dark side to deal with. Let’s talk about your love lives. People have a lot to say about those. Especially yours Katrina. How are Quinn and Damien these days? Anything you want to tell people? Katrina: They are both fine. You are the one telling our story. They will just have to read all of the chronicles to get the full story.

Elizabeth: I understand that the Protectors have been once again been asked to serve. Can you tell us anything about what you are doing these days? Katrina: We could, but then we’d have to kill you. El: We are thinking about getting Twitter accounts! Elizabeth: That would be fun. I’d love to follow all of you!

Elizabeth: Would you stay and answer any questions that may come up?

Katrina: Sure, that could be interesting.
